About Novicon

Novicon is opgericht in 1978 in Ootmarsum. In 1996 is het bedrijf naar Oldenzaal verhuisd. Vanaf 2007 is Novicon overgenomen door huidig directeur Herald Kamphuis en voormalig directeur Gerard Hegeman. In 2010 heeft Gerard het stokje overgedragen aan zijn zoon Niels. Samen met Herald stuurt Niels het bedrijf aan. Met een team van 50 medewerkers heeft Novicon zich de afgelopen jaren flink ontwikkeld. Er is geïnvesteerd in moderne machines en software, maar ook in het opleiden van personeel. Door korte lijnen, goed opgeleide vakmensen en een flexibel productieproces kunnen we snel schakelen en maatwerk van hoge kwaliteit leveren.

Our mission

Novicon's head office is located in Oldenzaal, but we also have an extra production location in Germany. The right combination of in-house disciplines and cooperation with the right partners means we can be flexible and deliver quality. We believe that by working together and sharing knowledge, we can more easily innovate and respond to the wishes and needs of the customer. We also believe in openness and trust. Circular

Construction consumes 50% of all raw materials and 40% of the energy. In the short term, we can do something about this by reusing existing structures. Materials have proven themselves and retain their properties. This construction is dismantled and adapted for the new application by means of bolted connections. This makes it donor steel for the new application. In the long term, buildings and constructions will have to be built in a demountable way. In steel construction, we do this by not welding anymore and by using bolted connections as much as possible. This makes materials and raw materials easily and quickly available for reuse or recycling after their useful life.

Certifications

Quality and safety are very important to us at Novicon. That's why we are VCA-Petrochemical certified and every employee, whether it's a project leader or a mechanic, has the VCA certificate. The VCA P certificate is aimed at companies which carry out high-risk work in the petrochemical industry, where even stricter requirements apply in the field of safety. For steel constructions, Novicon is certified according to the NEN-EN-1090-2 with which a CE mark is issued for the manufacture of steel constructions. We are certified up to and including execution class EXC 3. This enables us to deliver complex steel constructions with a high level of finishing.
We supply roof and wall cladding according to the guidelines of Dumebo DWS.

Working at Novicon

At this moment we are with fifty colleagues. All these colleagues make Novicon the company it is today. It is a nice mix of young and old. Employees who have been working for us for over 30 years, provide us with a lot of knowledge and experience and young employees contribute on innovation and a fresh look.
